Governor of the Japan District

Kiwanians and Supporters, I am Kosei Kishimoto, Governor of the Japan District.

As Kiwanis International President Daniel Vigneron boasts, we have clubs in diversified areas such as in Europe and in Asia-Pacific Region. We have made achievements in eliminating Iodine Deficiency Disorders and Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus with the cooperation of UNICEF, saving lives of many children and mothers.

At a local level, every club is conducting unique projects, serving communities, especially children.

However, our society is still facing issues such as ill-treatments to children, bullying and social recluse. We have to think how Kiwanis Clubs can serve children in an age like this, with limited time.

Another challenge I want to offer is to have diversity in clubs. Regardless of sex or age, invite members from various fields. Have them exchange opinions and socialize. When they feel satisfaction, they will invite more members. Young leaders will also grow.

I would like to ask for your continued support to Kiwanis Clubs.
Wishing you all the happiness.
