Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Fundraising

On March 11, 2011, a huge earthquake with the unprecedented magnitude of 9.0 and more than 20 meter high Tsunami hit North-East of Japan. The damage brought together was tremendous. Countless of houses were washed away, and more than 23,000 people have either lost their lives or are missing as of today.

The Japan District, together with Public Interest Incorporated Kiwanis Japan Foundation has started the Fundraising to aid this calamity. Most of the clubs in Japan are responding vigorously with their own fundraising activities. Contributions from either Kiwanians or non-Kiwanians can be wired to the following account:
